Go Power! (8-16 years)

This course is a fun filled one day introduction to boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment.

Assumed Knowledge: None
Course Duration: 1 day (0930-1700).
Age: 8-16 (courses will be split to keep 8-11 year olds and 12-16 years together)
Course Content: Boat preparation, crew preparation, basic boat handling, picking up and securing to a mooring buoy, leaving and coming alongside,
Ability after the course: able to drive a powerboat under supervision.  Candidates will be at the level to progress to Youth Powerboating (12-15 years)
