Forth Viking

Forth Viking is a 10m Humber Offshore, powered by twin 250hp Yamaha engines. She was built specifically for Sea Safari and passenger trips, so her layout is safe, comfortable, and offers good vision all round. Each person has their own seat and handholds. She carries state of the art safety kit and, as well as excellent Raymarine navigation and communication equipment.

Forth Viking is coded to Category 4, which allows her to travel 20 miles from a safe haven during the day time. She will be delivering boat trips from South Queensferry, and will also be available for private and commercial charter

Forth Adventurer

Forth Adventurer is an Aquastar 38 Ocean Ranger, renowned for their no nonsense build quality, excellent internal layouts, and exceptional seakeeping qualities. She has twin 318hp Volvo Pentas with fly by wire throttles that push her to a max speed of 22knots and a 10 knots cruising speed.

Forth Adventurer underwent an extensive refit in 2022 and received a full new electronics package and is coded to MCA Category 3 for 10 people. She will predominantly be used for RYA training, but will be available for private charter and commercial activities.

Forth Ranger

Forth Ranger is the latest addition to our fleet, and undergoing sea trials and testing. She is a totally unique boat, and no expense has been spared at any stage of her construction and fit out.

Forth Ranger is a Ribcraft 7.8m Professional and is powered by a Suzuki 250 hp engine, enabling her to hit 35-40 knots in calm conditions. She has a bespoke Micro Cabin, which will protect the passengers from the elements, but retain the exhilaration of an open boat.

She is fitted with 8 Ullman suspension seats which are designed to protect the passengers and crew from the effects of impact when travelling at speed through rough water. It is rare to find this number of suspension seats on a passenger boat and they more often seen police and military vessels.

Forth Ranger is unashamedly will be the safest, most comfortable, and most technologically advanced boat of her class in Scotland. She will be used for advanced powerboat training and commercial charter, so book your spot now!

Forth Explorer

Forth Explorer is a 6.4m Ribcraft Pro, powered by a 150hp fly by wire Suzuki Engine. She was built for training and her layout is carefully considered to ensure that she is safe and enjoyable to handle, with individual seating and handholds for every person on board. She carries up to date safety kit and, as well as excellent Raymarine navigation and communication equipment.

Forth Explorer is coded to Category 3 Restricted for 6 people, which allows her to travel 20 miles from a safe haven during the day time, and to operate at night closer to home. Boat club members will also be able to use Forth Explorer to take friends and family out on the water and she is available for Skippered charter.

Bagheera

Baghjeera is a 2021 Ribcraft 585 commercial spec boat, designed and built specifically for use as a training vessel. Bagheera has a 115 Suzuki outboard engine, with a fly by wire throttle for easy gear shifting. She also has four wing back seats which offer excellent support to passengers and instructors, even in rough weather, and a large space for equipment on the rear deck.

Although she is the smallest boat in our fleet she is also the fastest, and will top out at 40 plus knots in appropriate conditions. Most of our Powerboat Level 2 courses will take place in Bagheera, so book you space now!
