Join us for an unforgettable and exhilarating trip in our brand new RIB, which will take you from South Queensferry, under the three spectacular Forth Bridges up past the Rosyth Naval Dockyard to Blackness Castle where parts of Outlander were filmed.
The trip will take place in our brand new passenger boat 'Forth Ranger' which is the safest, most advanced, and most exhilarating fast passenger boat in the Firth of Forth. Forth Ranger will take you for a thrilling and luxuriously comfortable ride whatever the weather conditions with her modern suspension seats and bespoke cabin to protect you from spray and wind.
The trip will start from our base in South Queensferry, and after a short safety briefing we will head into the Firth of Forth, and head up underneath the Queensferry Crossing and towards the Rosyth naval dockyards where the new Aircraft Carriers were built. After spending some time looking at the nuclear submarines and warships in Rosyth we will continue our course past Hoptoun House Estate on the southern side of the Firth of Forth towards the beautiful and lonely Blackness Castle. Blackness castle was used as the set of many of the popular Outlander series, and is rarely accessed by sea. We are able to land at the castle and spend a few minutes looking around the courtyard and the other ancient buildings before heading back to South Queensferry.
You will also have the opportunity to take photographs and film throughout the trip, and will always be able to see some of the diverse some of the diverse wildlife that makes its home in the Firth of Forth. This varies according to the season but includes Seals, Dolphins, Puffins, Fulmars, Gannets, and occasionally whales.
The whole trip will be fascinating, exhilarating and memorable, and you will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, take photographs or simply admire the scenery.
